Party Night

All week I had set my mind that I'd party like there was no tomorrow Saturday night. My sister wanted some girl party time. But when Saturday 9:00pm came around I was so worn out had worked early all week. Made dinner Friday n I felt exhausted. Luckily my sister felt the same. So we cozied up and stayed in. We laughed and enjoyed each others company better than at any club or bar. It's definitely the little things in life that count.

Dinners on me

It had been a long time since the stove had been used other than for boiling water for tea. All four had pots on them sizzling and boiling. This night was special. I was cooking dinner. The menu was lasagna with a beet salad. I also had appetizers. A selection if two. One, Salted cookies with a bit of tuba and a tiny square of avocado the other with mozzarella cheese avocado. Drinks I had malbec red wine, stella beer and or water. I was all over the place. Didn't know beets take so long to prepare. Overall the food was not the best. I know I could do better but of course as always my nervousness gets the best out of me. But the night was rich in love and happiness. Laughter was never absent. Life is good.

Priorities

In a blink of an eye we are here March 21st. Three more blinks and the year will be over. Got the savor everything minutes. Make every moment count. Whether its the simplest task. I must create great habits and dispose of the bad ones. My biggest problem is procrastinating. I've got to make this year one to remember a productive one. I still have plenty of time. But my priorities have to be straight. Once and for all.

Happy Birthday

Feliz Cumpleanos my dear friend. You are more than just that a sister, a mentor, a parter in crime like no other. The times we spend are always filled with great energy and laughter. Time always ceases to exit and we talk endless hours of life love and success. We are growing adults and it's been beautiful to get to know you. Another day of the week

Exhausted from the party weekend. Drank and ate like an animal but it was awesome. Don't get to many of those anymore. So when they come around you take advantage. But I must remember San Francisco is waiting for me. Gotta get to legs in tip top shape. Vamos Maggie!!

Party Time

Work is done and over with. It's Friday and tonight we partying:) Its one of my sisters Bday and the family is getting together. Feels good. I love those moments.

Busy Bee

Work is always a Zoo but today especially I had a lot going on. Everyone always need something at the hospital. It's okay keeps me busy but exhausted me physically. I'm happy to do what I do. I'm proud to serve my community.

Back to Normal

It has been a long emotional month but I'm positive the worst is over. I had an amazing day off. Woke up, went running. Did my groceries shopping. Had my afternoon coffee did my laundry and left my place sparkly clean. I feel great!! All these simple tasks had been impossible me.. So weird but I'm good now

Monday Monday

They are the longest day of the week I don't know how or why but Monday's always seem so blah to me. Maybe because Sunday's are so nice and relaxing. Note to self. One of my goals in life is to have Monday's off!!

Luck

There are some people that don't believe in luck. I just don't know. It's either you have it or you don't. Is it the universe or you that makes things go your way. Who knows right? but I was just wondering. Wish I had all the answers.

Family day

Woke up early next to my soon to b bestest friend. Had a beautiful hike with my family. Everyone made it to the top I'm so proud. Now to enjoy an amazing lunch at Mario's. What a good life.

Just because

Today was an ordinary work day and to my surprise I received flowers. It was a bit embarrassing because everyone looks at you and ask questions but it's a good embarrassing. What was so amazing was that there was no occasion it was just because. The flowers are beautiful and smell so good. Thanks Chris

Its Friday

Unfortunately this Friday does not count I work tomorrow so my partying is limited to only one keg of beer just kidding. I'll probably just stay in and work on a couple things around the house. Me time commence!

Monday Madness

Back to life back to reality. Weekend flew by back to work. Very hectic. Changing system tomorrow. It's gonna be pure chaos and I'm front and center. Oh well got to make that money. Anyways another week. The tenth week of the year to be exact got to stay motivated. There's a to do list that's waiting. Vamos Maggie get it together! Back to life back to reality!

Goodbye Weekend

It was so great to have you off. You won't come again till two weeks. Had a successful weekend. Got to spend and enjoy time with friends, family and loved ones. Even the ones that have departed. Wish every weekend was as exciting as this one.

Sweet Saturday

What a beautiful day. Woke up next to one of my best friends let me rephrase that my sister. Took a nice long shower and headed out. Leaving my duties behind. I took a trip to Monterey Park to stand along side my grandmothers grave. Although she's gone her presence is so powerful it brought tears to my eyes she is greatly missed. Then had a wonderful meal at chipotle man! They know what there doing over there. It was a warm day so I had a ice cold modelo with my burrito. So since I put in all those calories I decided to take a little stroll up to the mountain and watch the sun set. What an amazing view, the city is so full of energy. It was beautiful just to contemplate the magnitude of the universe and to try to comprehend how insignificant we are with so much going on. I mean this in a good way the universe is so much bigger than us. Anyways I got back took warm shower and hit the books. Time to get down to business as I like to call it. What an interesting story that was "The Doctor's Dilemma". We human are interesting creatures that's for sure. Smiley faces!!! Goodnight planet earth may you one day reach world peace.

Dear Grandma

I came by to see you today. I hope you can still hear me. It's been so long since I've talked to you. And I have so much to tell you. I miss you. It's hard to believe you have been gone for six years. So much has happened. I grew up abuelita. I wish you could see me. Would you be proud of me? But I'm not done yet I'm a work in progress. I will shine for you and because of you.

Pay day!

Pay day is always a good day. Oh what to do with my money. Got to clean my carpet, buy sunglasses. Save a little of it. Money it really does make the world go round.
